About CRS
20 Years of Choral Excellence
The Corvallis Repertory Singers performs choral music by world-renowned classical composers and contemporary artists in premiere presentations.
From the classical sounds of Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart, to the symphonic arrangements of Karl Jenkins and Dan Forrest, to the operettas by Gilbert & Sullivan, the Corvallis Repertory Singers are “Note” worthy vocalists in the mid-Willamette Valley.
Founded in 2000 by Dr. Steven M. Zielke, the Corvallis Repertory Singers are proud members of a community that cherishes The Arts and first-class concerts. Our group of 50-plus, professional-caliber singers are experienced and versatile. What we enjoy most is the accolades we receive from our audiences who appreciate the quality we so-love to bring to our community. Our members are drawn together by their passion for sharing high-quality choral music and inspiring our audiences.
Performances are accompanied by a chamber orchestra and professional accompanist Nicola Nine. In past years, the singers have joined forces with the OSU-Corvallis Symphony, Newport Symphony and OSU choral groups for performances of larger works, such as Orff’s Carmina Burana and David Maslanka’s Mass.
Our annual Candlelight and Carols concert often features Handel’s Messiah or a major holiday-appropriate work, along with favorite carols. In the spring, musical theater repertoire often becomes a season-ending highlight performance.
