Corvallis Repertory Singers will hold auditions for the 2019-2020 season on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 4-7pm. Those interested in auditioning should contact Dr. Steven Zielke to reserve an audition time. Auditions will be in Community Hall on the campus of Oregon State University.
The Corvallis Repertory Singers is an award-winning choral ensemble founded in 2000. Most members of this “musicians” chorus have formal vocal study, and many have professional music degrees. All share an enthusiasm for choral music and the opportunity to present significant choral works at a high level. The 2000-2021 season will include “The Peacemakers,” by internationally renown Welsh composer, Karl, Jenkins, the joyful “Jubilate Deo,” by the American composer, Dan Forrest, and a program entitled “ The Empire Strikes Bach: Songs of Passion, Desire, and Despair.”
