solo performance with Repertory Singers Corvallis Repertory Singers is an award-winning choral ensemble founded in 2000 by Dr. Steven M. Zielke, director of choral studies at Oregon State University. Most members have studied voice and many have professional music degrees.  All members are drawn together by their passion for sharing high-quality choral music.

Repertoire covers a range of periods and styles, with themes ranging from Music fit for a King and a Queen, to Love Gone Bad.  The ensemble has performed major works, such as Bach’s Passion According to St. John, and Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vespers, sung a cappella in Old Church Slavonic. For a partial listing of works performed, click on Past Concerts

Chamber Orchestra

Performances are accompanied by chamber orchestra, harpsichord, organ, and/or piano, providing a true musical experience for both the audience and the singers.  In past years, the Singers have joined forces with the OSU-Corvallis Symphony and OSU choral groups for performances of larger works, such as Orff’s Carmina Burana.

Past audience favorites have been Candlelight and Carols, just before Christmas, and a bit of musical theater in the spring.
